Video Parody

A friend of mine has been working on a video parody of LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It," called "Nerdy and I Know It." I was asked to appear in it. So here it is; it's really well made, and very entertaining.
P.S. I'm one of the girls in the pillow fight scene.

What a Busy Past Few Days.

I went home this past Saturday. While home, the trunk of my car decided it wasn't going to stay shut anymore. I adore my Neon, but it's gotten to the point where I don't know how many more times it will make the trip from Cleveland to Toledo (or anywhere else that's over 100 miles away). My mom agreed, and decided that I was getting a car for my 21st birthday. The past couple days have been crazy busy, but here's my new car. It's a 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan.

Thank God for Fridays.

It's Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet, but rest assured I'll document it if it's interesting :)
Here's a few random pictures I took in the past five days:

 S'mores Pizza
I found a recipe online for this and my roommate, Rachel, and I tweaked it a little.
All you need is: pizza crust dough, Nutella, crushed graham crackers, tiny marshmallows and chocolate syrup. Bake according to dough directions. It's AMAZING, not even kidding.
I saw this man playing a ukulele outside the school library the other day. How cool is that?
 'Nuff said.
All of my textbooks for this semester, minus two. Ridiculous.
In the top 3 coolest children's books I've ever seen.
This little guy sits on my desk. He makes me smile.
 Have you?
I saw this going to ballet class today. They started tearing apart a building. It's kind of sad, but cool looking at the same time.
This alley is by the building my ballet class is in, and for some reason I'm really drawn to it. I think it would be an interesting spot for a photo shoot.

Have you studied abroad?

I stopped at a table set up in the university student center today with information about studying abroad. I have always wanted to see the world, and this could be a good way to do it. The pamphlets are a little confusing though, so I wanted to ask if anyone has ever studied abroad? Was it worth the cost? Would you do it again? Or was it a hassle and difficult to get the credits you needed?

How delicious does that look?

This picture is actually from a week ago, but I just got around to uploading my most recent batch of photos. Anyway, this is Crème Brûlée and it is absolutely amazing! If you've never tried it, you definitely should. I have had it at a couple different places, but the best one, in my opinion, is from Presti's Bakery in Cleveland's Little Italy.
Basically all Crème Brûlée (or "Burnt Cream") is, is a vanilla custard base with a caramelized top and is heated with a torch. It's probably not the healthiest thing for you, but we all need to live a little every now and then right?
If you are ever in Cleveland you really should check out Little Italy. It's a small neighborhood with dozens of family run restaurants. Presti's is always a must when I go out there and no matter what I pick at this bakery, I've never been disappointed. Check them out:

A Little Bit About Me...

I’m 20 years old (21 in 3 weeks).
I want to travel the world. And I mean EVERYWHERE.
I’m always looking for new music and making mix CDs for people.
I am obsessed with Chai tea.
I love anything Andy Warhol.
I have more sunglasses and shoes than I probably need.
I'd rather be barefoot though.
I hail from Toledo, Ohio.
I keep a hula-hoop in my car, just in case.
I'm my own worst critic.
I drive a Dodge Neon. My dream car is a VW Beetle.
My interests are kind of all over the place.
I'm a really picky eater, and have been a vegetarian for 2 months now.
I read more celebrity gossip than I should. It's a guilty pleasure.
I have three tattoos.
I'm pretty sure I belong in New York City.
I used to be on the rowing team. I miss it.

That's all I can think of at the moment, but maybe I'll make a part two in the future :)
